Pickleball Knee Support

Most pickleball players with tired or achy knees do well with a compression knee sleeve. It adds warmth and a snug, supported feel, and it stays put through lunges and split steps. Choose a padded sleeve if your kneecap feels loose. A hinged brace is for knees that give way, and that calls for a physio first.

How to choose

  • Kneecap feels unstable or sore when you lunge: Meniscus Support.
  • You want a sleeve for every game and hate readjusting it: CoreFlex.
  • You bend deep and want the least fabric behind the knee: PowerFlex 3D.
  • Both knees: the Meniscus Support and CoreFlex are sold one at a time, so add two to your bag. Two sleeves count toward the bundle discount. PowerFlex 3D comes as a pair.

Sizing

Measure around your thigh 10 cm (4 in) above the top of your kneecap, standing. If you're between sizes, contact us and we'll help you pick.

What a sleeve won't do

A compression sleeve doesn't hold a knee together after a ligament injury, and it isn't a treatment for a torn meniscus. It makes the knee feel warmer and more supported while you play.

When to see a physio

Swelling, a knee that locks or catches, a knee that gives way, or pain that's still there two weeks after you stop playing. Book the appointment before you buy anything.

Questions

A sleeve suits most players: it's light, gives compression and warmth, and doesn't limit how you move. A hinged brace adds metal or plastic stays for knees that are unstable, usually after an injury. If your knee gives way, see a physio before choosing either.
